FutureSoft Acquires MultiView Group from SurfControl

Houston, TX-February 19, 2001

FutureSoft, Inc., a leading provider of connectivity and security products, today announced the acquisition of the MultiView® Group from SurfControl (London:SRF, Easdaq:SRFC), an Internet filtering company based in the UK.

The union of FutureSoft and the MultiView Group will produce the industry’s most comprehensive set of Web-to-host connectivity and terminal emulation products for IBM and UNIX enterprise customers. The two parties offer unique and complementary experience that establishes a best-of-breed environment for current and future product development.

According to Rick Mansel, President and CEO of FutureSoft, “The acquisition of MultiView better enables us to provide products and solutions on a global basis; adds key sales, marketing and technical talent to our team; and broadens our Web-to-host go to market capability.”
