FutureSoft Enhances Enterprise Internet Filter

FutureSoft, Inc., the Houston-based maker of the DynaComm i:series Enterprise Content Security software family, today announced the release of DynaComm i:filter version 4.0.

This new version of the company’s Internet filtering and monitoring solution provides enhancements designed to facilitate easy deployment in large organizations. It includes the capability, through LDAP, to access directory services such as Microsoft's Active Directory. This enables administrators to automatically import users and groups into DynaComm i:filter, enabling simple and consistent management of user accounts.

Also included in this release are additional reporting and scheduling functions. Administrators can now schedule reports to be delivered to FTP servers or file servers, in addition to delivery by e-mail. This enables report archives to be built automatically without unnecessary work by administrators or managers.
