FutureSoft Enhances Adware, Spyware & File Surveillance Solution

FutureSoft, Inc., the Houston based maker of the DynaComm i:series Enterprise Content Security software family, today announced the release of DynaComm i:scan Version 4.0.

This release includes significant enhancements designed to provide organizations with protection from a variety of security threats. DynaComm i:scan’s ability to remotely scan and manage files and applications on networked PCs and servers has been increased with the introduction of distributed scanning and remote deployment. These two features enable a single DynaComm i:scan system to initiate scans of Windows PCs and servers in the largest networks by utilizing the processing power of each system to scan itself based on centrally defined policies.

Such problems as adware and spyware, which present real privacy and security issues for organizations, can now be targeted by DynaComm i:scan, in addition to hacking tools, illegal copies of applications and even unauthorized copies of sensitive information. The real-time monitoring capability of DynaComm i:scan will prevent the reoccurrence of these problems by controlling and monitoring what applications are installed or run, and alerting administrators if an attempted policy breach occurs.
