FutureSoft Launches Free Malware, P2P and IM Scanning Service

This free service, available through their Web site, enables corporate users to perform a scan of their PC directly through their Web browser, to search for such malware threats as hacking tools, spyware and adware. It also identifies installed P2P and IM clients, and inventories multi-media files which can be a source of legal liability for the organization.

These threats represent a huge problem for large organizations, and the size of the problem is growing rapidly. Some estimates put the malware infection rate of PCs above 70%.
